Sorbonne Panthéon

The second exhibition in Paris was located in the Sorbonne university, in the prestigious Galeries Soufflot in the historical buildings surrounding the Panthéon. While a smaller version was displayed in the lower gallery during the event launch in December, the full exhibition was shown during the whole month of January in the higher gallery and on all the monumental staircase connecting the two.

The location is not only one of the most historically relevant and visually stunning of the university, but it also benefits from a high number of students and visitors continuously passing through the galleries that connect the main classrooms of the building.

This exhibition was also presented during a high level event organised by the Italian Permanent Delegation to the International Organisations in Paris as part of their celebrations for the Italian national space day on the 4th of December 2025. It included interventions from Simonetta Cheli, director of Earth Observation Programmes at ESA, Christine Neau Leduc, President of Université Paris 1 Sorbonne, Luca Sabbatucci, Ambassador at the Permanent Delegation, Giampiero di Paolo, CEO of Thales Alenia Space Italy, Milena Lerario, CEO of E-Geos, Francesco Longo, Head of Earth Observation Unit of the Italian Space Agency, Andrea Taramelli, Coordinator of the national user forum of Copernicus at the IUSS Pavia, Massimo Comparini, Managing Director of the Space Division of Leonardo, and Alessandra Fiumara, Space attaché at the Permanent Delegation.
